We aim to broaden the availability of intensive computing application for scientists, engineers and consultants, particularly in the field of translational medicine.To this end we develop a middleware system, the Scalacalc Job Control System, that provides uniform and easy interfaces to a variety of high performance computing resources---both for programming scientists and for users of computing applications.
The Scalacalc JCS maintains collections of simulator versions, jobs and results under a unified web interface.
